WriteSpan LLC is the company behind NursePrep. We are a Delaware limited liability company.

2. What Information We Collect

When you create an account and use NursePrep, we collect the following information:

Account information: Your full name, email address, and the NCLEX track you selected (RN or PN). This is required to create and manage your account.

Practice data: Your question responses, scores, and study activity within the platform. This is used to power your progress tracking, category scores, and recommendations.

Payment information: We collect your email address and the fact that a payment was made. Your payment card details are processed and stored by Stripe — we never see or store your card number, expiry, or CVV.

Usage data: Basic information about how you use the platform, such as which pages you visit and when. This helps us improve the product.

We do not collect: sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, date of birth, or health information. We do not collect information about your clinical practice or patient care.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

— Create and manage your account — Provide access to practice questions, the simulated exam, and progress tracking — Send you a welcome email when you sign up and occasional product updates — Respond to your support requests — Improve the quality and content of NursePrep — Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your information for advertising. We do not build advertising profiles. We do not sell your data.

4. Third-Party Services We Use

NursePrep is built on a small set of trusted third-party services. Each receives only the data necessary to perform its function:

Supabase — our database and authentication provider. Stores your account information and practice data. Data is stored in the United States. Supabase privacy policy: supabase.com/privacy

Stripe — our payment processor. Handles all payment card transactions. WriteSpan LLC never sees or stores your payment card information. Stripe privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy

Resend — our email delivery service. Used to send your welcome email and account communications. Resend privacy policy: resend.com/privacy

Vercel — our hosting provider. Hosts the NursePrep application. Vercel privacy policy: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy

None of these services sell your data or use it for advertising.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and practice data for as long as your account exists.

If your access period expires and you do not renew, your account and data remain saved. We do not automatically delete accounts or data after expiry.

If you request deletion of your account, we will delete your personal information and practice data within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated data (such as overall question performance statistics with no identifying information) may be retained for product improvement purposes.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate information.

Deletion: Request that we delete your account and personal data.

Portability: Request your practice data in a readable format.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@writespan.com. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are in the European Union or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or the CCPA. We honor all requests regardless of your location.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

Your password is never stored in plain text — it is hashed using industry-standard encryption by Supabase Auth. Your account data is stored in a secure database with row-level security policies that ensure each user can only access their own data.

No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. While we work hard to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

NursePrep is intended for adults who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us at support@writespan.com and we will delete the account promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated to you by email.

Your continued use of NursePrep after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
